“From This Day Forward: A Marriage Conference” is a two-day event designed to encourage and equip couples through gospel-centered teaching, worship, and intentional time together. Dr. Tony and Bre Wood—co-hosts of the podcast Date Night with the Woods and co-authors of the book The Little Red Book of Marriage & Family—will guide couples in deepening love, strengthening communication, and cultivating lasting joy in marriage. With Scripture-rich sessions, guided prayer, and practical breakouts, couples will be refreshed and realigned with God’s purpose for their marriage.

Main Speaker

Dr. Tony Wood | Tony has led Mission Bible Church in Costa Mesa as the teaching pastor since it was launched in 2010. He is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary (D.Min., 2022) and serves on multiple church and missionary boards. Tony co-hosts the marriage and family podcast Date Night with the Woods and co-hosts the podcast Christianly. He is married to his wife, Bre, and they have three children. Tony and Bre are the co-authors of the Little Red Book of Marriage & Family.

Breakout Speakers

Bre Wood | Bre has been married to her best friend, Tony, for 19 years. They have two sons and one daughter who are ages 17, 15, and 9. Bre is the co-host of the podcast Date Night with the Woods. She enjoys homeschooling her children, discipleship, and counseling at Mission Bible Church. Bre is the co-author with Tony of the Little Red Book of Marriage & Family.

Cody Jenison | Primary Teacher and Elder at Mission Community Church
Cody has been the primary teacher at Mission Community Church since the church was launched in 2022. He also oversees the missions and young adult ministries at the church. He has been in full-time ministry for over a decade and is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary (M.Div., 2017).

Jason Kruis | Senior Pastor and Elder at Bethel Baptist Church
Jason has served as Bethel's Senior Pastor since 2022. He and his wife, Kelli, have five children: Claire, Grace, Hannah, Luke, and John. A graduate of The Master's Seminary (M.Div., 2020), Jason is also pursuing a Th.M. at Master's in Bible exposition. His passion in life and ministry is to bring the clarity of God's Word to a world so much in need of it, and to continually bring God's people (including himself and his family) back to God's Word for our life and sustenance. One of the ways the Lord has gifted Jason for this ministry is as a biblical counselor certified by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) since 2017.

Caleb Schroeder | Senior Pastor and Elder at Faith Community Church
Pastor Caleb grew up attending Faith Community Church. He first confessed Jesus as Lord at the age of six, and he sensed a call on his life to Christian ministry when he was 11 years old. Over the years he has overseen our junior high ministry and more recently our college ministry. He has served as one of our elders since 2016 and became our senior pastor in August 2020. He graduated from The Master's University in 2018 with a master’s degree in biblical studies. Prior to joining our staff, he taught mathematics for 18 years at the high school and college levels. He and his wife, Leah, have six children: Sophie, Aubrey, Elias, Josiah, Talitha, and Bethia.
