Pastor Noel grew up on the streets of the Philippines and spent 10 years in prison as a young man. But the Lord saved him and changed his life completely while he was in prison. Now he serves as the senior pastor of Arise and Shine Community Church, a position he has held since 1996. He is also the administrator Arise and Shine Academy and a professor at Baptist Bible College of Asia in Manila. In addition, he supervises the planting of new outreach churches. He preaches the gospel to around 400 inmates each Monday and mentors about 15 ex-inmates who are actively serving the Lord. Since 2005 his goal has been to proclaim God's Word to at least 50,000 people every year at evangelistic crusades, seminars, youth camps, schools, hospitals, and public places such as buses and trains. Pastor Noel and his wife, Gina, have four children: Faith Giel, Rapture Noah, Great Blessing, and Amazing Xaris.
